Caught your website on the page of a Facebook friend. I am the mother of three boys and enjoyed your blogs. They are well written and very entertaining. Keep writing and we will keep reading.
I am so glad to finally find your site and read the laugh out loud stories!
Thanks for sharing your humor, your insight, and your heart! Look forward to more.
Happy Hannukah!
Terri
Finally got turned on to your blog. Your entry about your Mom was so beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss. Just wanted to let you know that we share your favorite show. FNLs is our family favorite. Looking forward to more entries.

So sitting in my car waiting for someone of my kiddies to finish some activity and flipping thru an OPRAH mag-and I say”I Know that girl!!” See your beautiful face and your article(which both me and my huge snowboarder fan Hannah loved) and I think I’ve got to track that girl down…and then today I get my Trin Mag and see about your blog!! I have missed reading you(since days of “Along the Long Walk”) and I have missed you-so now I get a 2-fer -get to read you and can get in touch with you. Wasn’t sure of your email and what not as all I have is some old golf mag email. So I am going to sit down and read each and every blog bit and hope we can reconnect soon.. xxoo Ka Harin Ma
Just wanting to call you and I pulled up your website.-Haven’t been here in a while. Thank you for the wonderful start to my day – laughter!
Hope to see you later (:
Yo!!!!! I’m coming your way for the Senior PGA Championship – that is, assuming you’re still in Denver. I fly in tomorrow morning, out Sunday evening. Can I buy you a meal? Best bet is Sunday brunch, or Friday dinner. Call me at 562-618-2817. I hope we can ketchup soon! -Alan
Thanks for accepting my friend request. Jeez, cannot even believe I wrote that, or made a “friend request” which sounds so desperate.
What I wanted to say here is you are way too great a writer for nobody to be seeing your work here. Won’t you reconsider joining our now 40+ terrific writers at The A Position?
Call me. Let’s discuss. Remember that we share the same favorite book– and I’m actually a real, live Oregonian. And you just got engaged here, if I’m paying attention. So you love Oregon, and hence want to call me . . .
Hey Kate, Just catching up on the blogs.. You are really really good… ever think about writing fro a career? Miss you and the girls. Send my love and goooo Steelers!!! B
I love you Kate,
Happy Mother’s (or is it Mothers”) Day Kate. Never liked MOther’s/Mathas’ Day much either. Asked the kids to leave me alone today. They didn’t thank God!

Kate,
I just read your article in O! It’s my old waitress partner for real! B.H. is my fav place, too. Mom had to sell the house, boo-hoo. Write soon!

Kate,
Send me your mailing address, please. Have a little Mother’s Day something I would like to send. Thinking of both you – and your mom.
Goes without saying – keep writing. Much love.

Hey Kate,
So this is fairly impersonal—leaving you a catchup message for the world to see. How are you? Guess you heard about me and Elin…
Seriously, how and where are you? Send me a note so I’m not like Shipnuck posting my cell phone.
